Well what happened with you is sad but I always prefer flying by indigo for its low rates and even in the worst weather condition its always on time .. on my wedding my in laws were supposed to go to dibrugarh airport from kolkata and weather was too bad all the flights were cancelled but still indigo flew. I as a customer got the worth i paid for. Just because of one incidence you cannot ask everyone to leave using something. I had such incidents with Eureka forbes customer service but for that matter who would leave using eureka forbes except for me. And even I have cancelled or rescheduled my flights many times never had any issue with them.

And no I dont work for Indigo off course I used to work for IBM Daksh then Oracle and then Accenture.

Hi Rajbeer,

This airline is nothing but a bunch of thieves and low life thugs. They just robbed me for INR 23672. Their staff is extremely rude and Mr. Rahul Bhatia, who is the ceo and owner of the group, I guess has no time to look over the complaints that are put across on different forums on the internet.

Abusing these pieces of shit would not result anything but I wish they go out of business soon.

Yeah absolutely.. Me too.. Just got robbed of Rs.6,500 to book a new flight AFTER being on time to the airport due to them not announcing last call or making any announcements near security check queue, which is the norm for flights which are very close to stop boarding. They do this for multiple reasons like overbooking, selling the same passenger two tickets, reductions in staff requirements etc. They even lobbied to make Mumbai airport a silent airport just to avoid announcing and enabling themselves to get passengers to miss flights they've already checked in to, and sell them additional tickets.
We all hope their competition gets their act together and drives them out of business but sadly we're moving further and further away from that in the Indian domestic aviation scene.

I found out too late about this stupid Indigo Airlines policy of presenting a copy of the front and back of your credit card. I booked several tickets for family members using a virtual card number as I do not trust any company with keeping my credit card safe for online transactions.

WHAT DO THEY DO WITH THE COPY OF THE CREDIT CARD you present at the airport? Do they keep it or is it just used for verification?

I also got tickets via Air India using the same method and did not get a stupid email saying I would have to present front/back of card at checkin. I'm not sure how I present a copy of a virtual credit card number to the desk and my elderly father is travelling alone with the ticket I bought him to meet us in another city in india.

IF THEY REFUND the money to the credit card and my father pays cash or uses his own credit card will I actually get the money back? I am using a U.S. credit card and I hope I do not have to dispute the transaction? I also get a 3% foreign transaction fee added so I doubt I will get that refunded.

All in all never flying indigo again.
Useless Indigo customer service said that they can refund the amount to the credit card at the airport
